I collect everything I think I can carry.
My practice investigates the vibrancy of places and the relations between bodies, materials, and the spaces in between. I work to get as close as possible to the world of things—not to represent it, but to stay with its tensions, resistances, and agencies.
Through painting and writing, sound and video, sculpting and composing, I question human-centered modes of authorship and engage in forms of making that unfold in dialogue with material and immaterial forces. Rather than directing outcomes, I work with processes of negotiation, co-presence, and friction.
In the installative I dive into the depths - I rummage through the material to illuminate the ineffable and let it appear as a moment of experience between things.
In deconstructing the matter, I let myself fall.
Words and images
merge.
Differences fuse.
In flickering darkness.
